Gene A. Gonzales, MST, CPA
Gene began his career in public accounting in 1985 in the tax department of a national office of Kenneth Leventhal & Company in Los Angeles, California (currently known as the the EY Real Estate Group). Prior to starting his own firm, Gene was a shareholder in another local CPA firm in Sacramento.
Gene has chosen to focus his career in public accounting primarily in the area of taxation. To that end, he has served numerous closely held corporations and partnerships. Gene has significant experience in tax planning and transactional analysis relating to multi-entity business structures as well as closely-held family owned business organizations.
Gene received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University, in Los Angeles, California and his Master of Science in Taxation, from California States University, Northridge. Gene is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA).
